Healthy Cooking Class Series:
Participants will learn tips for portion control, facts about hidden sugar and sodium in our processed foods, the importance of breakfast and the healthy substitutions to improve the nutritional profile of their family favorites.
Participants are invited to attend a 4 class series that includes:
- Eating Seasonally – Know Your Farmer…. Know Your Food
- Healthy Crockpot Cooking
- Portion Control
- Hidden sugar and sodium in our
- Families will also enjoy a light, healthy meal together as a part of each class. At the end of the series, there will be a drawing for a free 7-quart crockpot and a gift certificate to purchase local, seasonal produce at one of our participating produce stands.
